The 4-Channel Relay Module has four relay outputs and is a full-height module. In any of the slots to the right of the Rack Interface Module, any number of 4-Channel Relay Modules can be installed. Each of the 4-channel relay module's outputs can be individually programmed to conduct the required voting logic. "Alarm Drive Logic" is included in each relay on the 4-Channel Relay Module. Alarm Drive Logic is programmed using AND and OR logic and can use alarming inputs (alerts and dangers) from any monitor channel in the rack, or any combination of monitor channels. The 3500 Rack Configuration Software is used to program the Alarm Drive Logic to match the application's specific requirements.
3500/32 Output LED Specifications
- When the module is operating properly, the OK LED is illuminated.
- Transmit and receive LEDs. Flashes to show that this module is properly communicating with the other modules in the rack.
- To show that the Relay Channel is in an alarm condition, the CH ALARM LED is illuminated.
